Week of September 22 - 28

Homecoming 2024 was a success! It was great to sweep Northridge with wins for all 3 teams! Hopefully, everyone enjoyed the halftime show at the Varsity game, it was SO COOL! We have a great administration here a Bountiful!

We have a final letterman jacket fitting this Tuesday, September 24th, at 7:00 PM, just outside the weight room. This is for everyone. All teams/sports/groups. Any questions, reach out to Carrie at 801-604-9331.

Weekly Schedule

***To help students with grades as we approach the end of first term (3 1/2 weeks remaining) we will be doing homework hall for players at the high school. The dates and times will be Mondays during PI/Lunch and Wednesday mornings from 7:45 to 8:55 AM. We will meet in Coach Johnson's room, room 513. On both days, if students need to go to another teacher to work with that specific teacher they will be allowed, BUT the will beed to communicate that with Coach Freck or Coach Johnson.

Anyone with multiple F's or an F, and other low grades (D's & C's) will be required to attend. These students will be notified in football class or receive a message via Warroom that they are expected to attend. Anyone on the team is welcome to join if they would like to have extra time and help doing homework.

After practice we will kick off Homecoming with a FULL team BBQ. All teams, Varsity, JV and Frosh will meet up just outside the weight room for burgers and dogs. If you've volunteered to bring a food item, please have that to the weight room at 5:30 so we can be ready right at 6:00!  What a game on Thursday Night! Thursday Night Lights are fun time, and better when you take home the WIN! This week, is the start of Region games.  Come hungry to work hard!

Former Bountiful Redhawk, Corbin Cottle was the motivational speaker this last week.  It was great to see him and hear from him.  He is currently playing football at Utah State, and told the team not to take a single day for granted during high school. The weight room should be a priority, and this football family will always be there for you!

Week of AUGUST 25-31

Time flies when we are having fun!  Another great game on Friday night. Thank you, friends and family, for coming out to support the boys. We have a great community.

We are so grateful for the team moms and for planning and serving breakfasts each game day.  They couldn't do it without all your help donating small items, please continue to check the Sign Up Genius each week. Team Breakfast

Friday we were lucky to have Principal Warnick come speak to the team. His focus was on Mistakes. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, learn from them and move on. Don't let that prevent you from making the next play.

For anyone that hasn't paid all the football fees, please make sure those are taken care of as soon as possible. They are past due at this point. Coach Freck will begin talking with players that haven't paid fees, if there are any issues with paying fees, please let Coach Freck know.

For those of you interested, we have a representative from Coleman Knitting coming to size for Lettermans Jackets. We will meet just outside of the weight room at 7:00 PM on TUESDAY, August 27th.
