Week of October 20 - 26

Playoffs! 

Congrats to everyone for earning the #2 seed for the tournament and a first-round bye.  The RPI can be a funny thing, but I like our draw. We need to be locked in and focused for this week and find ways to continue to get better.

Congratulations to the Frosh team for their success and improvements made this season. They were fun to watch, and we know the future is bright for Bountiful Football. As we switch gears to playoff mode we will continue to follow the model from the last couple of seasons. All sophs will be invited and encouraged to join us for our playoff run. To keep numbers manageable, we will only invite freshman tha we feel like will be able to make an immediate impact on the scout teams. The list of Freshman that are being invited for playoffs, will be at the bottom of this email. If your name is not on the list thank you for your contributions and we hope to see you back next year.

Of course, the practices will be focused on Varsity and some may not desire to come to practices and games and not participate. We understand this and encourage anyone not participating in playoff football to go and join another sport (we love multiple sport athletes). Anyone that is going to continue for playoffs needs to commit to being there every day.  It will not be a sometimes there, sometimes not situation. For games we will dress and travel as many players as we have space for. This could change week to week to highlight players that are performing well in practices. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please reach out directly to Coach Freck.

Wow! What a game Thursday Night. That was a big win for us. So dang proud of this team!

It's our last region game this week and we will be playing for a region championship. We play Thursday Night at Home. We will be celebrating our Senior players after the game. Please stay in your seats after the game, for a quick ceremony as we honor them. Senior parents, reminder that we have a quick runthrough of Senior Night on Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm on the field. We do not like getting ahead of ourselves but we have earned the right to consider our plans for a first round BYE. If for any reason we do not receive a first round bye, we will adjust our schedule accordingly. This will be our plan as of now.

It was another great week of football. All three teams came out with a Win.  Time to put all our hard work to the test this week as we battle against the undefeated Roy Royals - who hold the #1 spot in region!  COME HUNGRY!

Anyone with multiple F's or an F, and other low grades (D's & C's) will be required to attend. These students will be notified in football class or receive a message via Warroom that they are expected to attend. Anyone on the team is welcome to join if they would like to have extra time and help doing homework.

Week of September 29 - October 5

Another great week of football!! We are down to 3 more region games, then we move on to playoffs.  Let's keep pushing hard on the field and classroom, we only have 2 1/2 weeks left in the first term!

As always we are so grateful for the donations every game day!  Breakfast is always a hit, and the gatorades at half time help replenish the boys!  Sign up for this week's team breakfast can be found HERE

Senior night is right around the corner.  We could use the help of parents who are NOT seniors to help that evening.  Please look over the sign up and see if there is anything you can help with so our senior families can enjoy the evening.  SENIOR NIGHT

**Box Elder doesn't have a Soph team for this week, we are currently looking for another opponent. I believe we will be able to find another game. Once we have that information, we will send it out.

Uniform: Red Jersey, Red Pants, white accent (optional Pink Accent -every year in October we pick one game to do a pink accent in support of cancer awareness. We do it as a team for just ONE game to be intentional and unified. Players are NOT required to wear pink and keep the white accent, but this is the pink accent game)
